Due to is singular shape, the São Jacinto straw hat is one of the most original models of the traditional Portuguese straw headgear.
Its name is taken from the São Jacinto Dunes Natural Reserve, located nearby Costa Nova.
Like the other straw hats from the Costa Nova collection, the São Jacinto model is gender-neutral and comes with a removable snap hat band, which makes it possible for you to choose your own favourite (or favourites) according to the intended look.
The process of making our straw hats is completely artisanal, which faithfully testifies to the skillful and ancient Portuguese art of working the straw.

How to Care
Hat: do not wash. Fabric hat bands: machine wash delicate cycle max. 40 degrees (please use a laundry wash bag). Vegetable tanned leather hat band: do not wash. Straw darkens naturally with sunlight.
