The Palheirinho is a straw cap for the little ones - boys and girls - but without losing sight of some grown-ups for whom the bigger size can also fit well.
Its name is taken from the Costa Nova's famous palheiros - which could be roughly translated to ‘haystacks’ - as the unique wooden striped beach huts are affectionately and locally known.
The process of making our straw cap is completely artisanal, which faithfully testifies to the skillful and ancient Portuguese art of working with straw.
Straw is one of the most ecological natural materials that exists which, given our sustainable and ecological principles, means that it is also one of the most noble.
